On April 10, 2025, Senator Kim tweeted about a helicopter crash in the Hudson River. He expressed deep sorrow over the reports of casualties and noted that his office is actively monitoring the rescue efforts. His message extended condolences to the families affected by the incident.
The following day, April 11, Kim shared in a tweet about meeting with the father of Amer Rabee. Rabee was a 14-year-old U.S. citizen from New Jersey who tragically died after being shot in the West Bank by Israeli forces. Senator Kim expressed the need for answers for Rabee's family and the families of two other boys who were injured. He is collaborating with Senator Cory Booker on this issue.

Kim, who also attended Deep Springs College, continues to engage with both local and international issues through his congressional role.
