During a visit to Israel on February 17, 2025, Rep. Kim participated in a bipartisan effort aimed at utilizing diplomatic means to ensure the safe return of hostages from New Jersey. He expressed his commitment by stating: "Here in Israel today with a bipartisan group to ensure we use every diplomatic tool available to get New Jersey's Edan Alexander, and all remaining hostages, home safely."
In recognition of Black History Month on February 18, 2025, Rep. Kim celebrated Newark native Queen Latifah for her contributions to hip-hop and culture.
