Happy New Year Burlington County! The BCPO is beginning 2023 without two veteran members of our staff – former First Assistant Prosecutor Philip S. Aronow and Detective Sergeant Jonathan M. Gutkin – who have retired following lengthy law enforcement careers.
Former FAP Aronow first served with the BCPO from December 1997 through January 2004 and was assigned to the trial team. He then went to the Office of the New Jersey Attorney General (New Jersey OAG) before returning to the BCPO in 2017 and serving five years as first assistant prosecutor.
Det. Sgt. Gutkin is retiring following a 25-year career, 19 of which were spent with the BCPO, where he was heavily involved in intelligence gathering and analysis.
