Dozens of residents volunteered their time to pick up trash, paper, recyclables and other litter and debris Saturday during Burlington Township’s 21st Annual Community Cleanup Day at Green Acres Park.
Burlington County Commissioner Dan O’Connell and Commissioner Allison Eckel were among those who lent a helping hand at the event, along with Congressman Andy Kim, members of the Burlington Township Council and other local officials. Together they filled numerous bags of debris and also thanked the many volunteers who participated in the cleanup.
It was a wonderful event that showcased the community pride and spirit that makes Burlington County a great place to call home.
