Dennis W. Pullin, the president and CEO of Virtua Health, has released a new book titled “Suited for Leadership: How to Show Up with Purpose to Have Lasting Impact.” This work, published by Brave Healer Publishing, addresses leadership principles across various fields. The book offers guidance garnered from Pullin’s significant experience and is available in hardcover, paperback, and digital formats. Proceeds from the book sales will support Virtua Health’s food access initiatives, including the Eat Well Mobile Grocery Store and Eat Well Mobile Farmers Market.
Upon its release on April 8, “Suited for Leadership” quickly gained recognition, topping Amazon’s Hot New Releases lists in the Leadership Training and Workplace Culture categories. The 24-chapter book links the art of leadership to a well-fitted suit, emphasizing traits such as personal style, attention to detail, confidence, and trust. The chapters serve as calls to action accompanied by stories from Pullin’s career, exploring topics like authenticity, emotional intelligence, and the influence of impactful relationships.
Pullin shares his journey from Texas to leading New Jersey’s largest health system, underlining his advocacy for health equity. Adam Schechter, CEO of Labcorp, contributed the foreword, highlighting Pullin’s unique insights.
