Rep. Andy Kim, who has been serving in the U.S. Congress, representing New Jersey’s 3rd District since 2019, has used social media to raise awareness on various issues affecting education, healthcare, and taxation. With a background that includes a degree from the University of Chicago, Kim has been actively vocal about government policies and their impacts on his constituents.

On April 5, 2025, Kim posted a tweet addressing issues concerning federal grants for educators in New Jersey. He stated, "Federal grants like these help connect skilled, passionate, and valuable educators into our NJ communities. Trump’s assault on public education is leaving students behind who need our support the most and letting down our teaching workforce when we need to be lifting them up."

The following day, April 6, 2025, Kim shared another tweet drawing attention to an amendment aimed at protecting Medicaid coverage. In his words, "Caregivers move mountains to be there for those we love. We need to be there for them. Senator Kim introduced an amendment to protect the Medicaid coverage millions of Americans rely on for their caregivers. Republicans voted against it to give more tax cuts to billionaires."

On April 7, 2025, Kim posted yet another tweet, highlighting the implications of tax breaks proposed by former President Trump. He remarked, "As Trump works to hand more tax breaks to billionaires, it is families like Nicole and her son Jordan in New Jersey who will suffer. We are grateful they are sharing their story. We all need to listen."
