Rep. Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, has been vocal on social media about various pressing issues. In his recent tweets, he addressed concerns ranging from constitutional adherence to economic challenges faced by Americans.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Andy Kim expressed concern over what he perceives as a potential constitutional crisis, emphasizing the importance of all individuals, including the President, adhering to legal standards. He stated: "When we talk about a Constitutional crisis, this is what we mean. We all have to follow the letter of the law; that includes the President."

The following day, February 20, 2025, Kim turned his attention to economic issues facing American workers. He highlighted the inadequacy of the federal minimum wage with his tweet: "The federal minimum wage is $7.25 an hour, about $15,000 a year. That is unlivable. And our next labor secretary must have a clear vision and plan to support working Americans." This statement underscores his call for leadership that prioritizes fair wages.

Later on February 20th, Rep. Kim commented on housing affordability in New Jersey in response to remarks made by Lori Chavez-DeRemer regarding income allocation for rent expenses: "Lori Chavez-DeRemer said people should spend 10-20% of their income on rent. The reality is that most New Jerseyans spend closer to 50% of their monthly income on housing." He emphasized the need for a labor secretary who understands these everyday financial struggles.
