On November 20, 2024, Rep. Kim acknowledged Transgender Day of Remembrance by honoring those lost to hate crimes within the transgender community. He emphasized the importance of confronting hateful rhetoric and bigotry, stating: "Today we honor those in the trans community whose lives were stolen by hate.
