Burlington County voters have the opportunity to cast their ballots early for the upcoming Nov. 5 General Election, beginning on Oct. 26. This option allows voters to avoid potential long lines on Election Day by using any of seven designated early voting locations throughout the county during a nine-day period.

Joseph Dugan, chairman of the Burlington County Election Board, emphasized the importance of voter participation and assured residents about the security of the voting process. "One of the most fundamental rights in America is the right to vote, and Burlington County residents have several ways to exercise that right," Dugan stated. He added that all methods of voting are secure and votes will be accurately counted.

The early voting period runs from Oct. 26 through Nov. 3, allowing voters from any municipality within Burlington County to vote at any early voting site with a machine. This differs from Election Day when voters must use their assigned polling location based on their residence.

The seven early voting sites are open daily during this period with hours set from 10 AM to 8 PM on weekdays and Saturdays, and from 10 AM to 6 PM on Sundays.

Locations for early voting include:

- Chesterfield Township Municipal Building

- Gibson House Community Center in Evesham

- Medford Town Hall

- Rowan College at Burlington County Student Success Center in Mount Laurel

- Pemberton Community Library

- Tabernacle Rescue Squad

- Willingboro Public Library

Registered voters who have not requested or received a vote-by-mail ballot can participate in early voting using these machines. Those who have opted for mail-in ballots will need to use paper provisional ballots if they choose not to mail them.

For those preferring mail-in options, requests for vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots can be made until Nov. 4 at 3:00 PM through the Burlington County Clerk’s Office website or in person at designated locations after Oct. 29.

Completed VBM ballots can be deposited into one of the county's secure drop boxes or delivered directly to election offices by mail or hand before polls close at 8 PM on Nov. 5.

On Election Day itself, voters may still choose to vote in person with machines at their regular polling stations as indicated online by checking https://www.nj.gov/state/elections/vote-polling-location.shtml.

For additional inquiries regarding election procedures, residents can contact the Burlington County Elections hotline at 609-265-VOTE (8683).
