Repairs to the Mount Holly-Jacksonville Road Bridge (D3.16) in Springfield are scheduled to commence on June 17, resulting in a closure expected to last approximately two weeks. The bridge, which spans the Assiscunk Creek, will necessitate the closure of Mount Holly-Jacksonville Road, also known as County Route 628, between Oxmead Road and Jacksonville-Jobstown Road.

Local traffic will be allowed access within the closure area for residential properties and businesses; however, through traffic over the bridge will not be permitted. A detour route has been established using Oxmead Road and Smithville-Jacksonville Road.

The repairs will be conducted by skilled workers from the Burlington County Department of Public Works’ Construction Services team. Burlington County, New Jersey's largest county, is responsible for maintaining over 500 miles of county roads, along with 411 bridges and 700 culverts.
