Burlington County has announced the scheduled commencement of road resurfacing work on a portion of Hartford Road in Moorestown. The project is set to begin on Tuesday, June 4, and will involve pavement milling and overlay work on a 2.6-mile section of Hartford Road, also known as County Route 686. This area stretches between Route 537 in Mount Laurel and Garwood Drive in Moorestown.
The resurfacing effort is anticipated to take approximately two weeks to complete. During this period, traffic will be maintained through the work area; however, motorists are likely to experience delays and are advised to seek alternative routes.
The project is being executed by Black Rock Enterprises as part of Burlington County’s annual road resurfacing program. Overall, nearly 37 miles of roadway across 15 municipalities within the county are expected to be resurfaced through a combination of state and county funding.
