Young adults and teens in Burlington County will have the opportunity to connect with over 35 employers at the upcoming Youth Job Fair on April 11. The event will take place from 4:30 PM to 7 PM at the Burlington County Human Services Building in Westampton.

Burlington County Commissioner Director Felicia Hopson expressed her enthusiasm for the event, stating, "Burlington County is the perfect place to live, work and run a business for many reasons; one of them is the quality of our workforce." Hopson also highlighted the partnership with the Burlington County Workforce Development Board, emphasizing the goal of connecting younger workers with potential employers.

The Youth Job Fair is open to job seekers aged 16 and above, with participants encouraged to dress professionally and bring multiple copies of their resumes. Attendees can expect to interact with employers from various industries seeking to fill positions, apprenticeships, internships, and seasonal roles.

Employers scheduled to attend the fair include a diverse range of organizations such as the New Jersey State Police, TD Bank, U.S. Army, and Six Flags Great Adventure, among others. Additional employers interested in participating can still register online for the event.

Hopson commended the efforts of Burlington County's Workforce Development Board in providing residents with job opportunities and access to necessary education or training. She stated, "We’re proud of Burlington County’s status as a premier destination for businesses and we’re seeing more opportunities for residents of all ages."
