The Township of Mount Laurel celebrated the arrival of the holiday season Friday during the township’s annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Rancocas Woods.
The village was decked with lights and decorations, and hundreds of residents and visitors turned out to enjoy the evening’s festivities and splendor. Among the special guests were Burlington County Commissioner Dan O’Connell, Commissioner Allison Eckel and Assemblywoman Carol Murphy, Majority Whip, who joined Mayor Kareem Pritchett, Deputy Mayor Stephen Steglik and Council members Fozia Janjua, Karen Cohen and Nikitas Moustakas at the community gathering.
It was a great evening and the Commissioners were honored to participate and welcome this season of wonder with Mount Laurel's leaders and residents.
