Virtua Health reported on Mar. 18 that four of its hospitals and more than 90 medical practices have received awards for their online reputation, according to the latest rankings from Reputation, a California-based firm that evaluates digital presence in health care.

These awards are significant because they reflect feedback from patients and community members, highlighting the importance of trust and positive experiences when choosing health care providers. Virtua Willingboro Hospital increased its Reputation Score from 881 to 947, placing it among the top ten acute-care hospitals nationwide for 2026. Three other Virtua hospitals—Marlton (870), Our Lady of Lourdes (850), and Mount Holly (831)—also received high scores. Thirty-nine Virtua locations earned scores above 900, with Virtua Urgent Care – Washington Township achieving the highest score at 960.

Kristi Melani, chief marketing officer at Reputation, said, “Exceptional customer experience doesn’t happen by accident—it’s a choice. Virtua Health has shown a relentless commitment to their reputation, placing them among an elite group of leaders who prioritize the customer voice above all else. They aren’t just hitting targets; they’re building lasting relationships.” Chrisie Scott, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Virtua Health, said, “These reputation scores really matter because they reflect the voices of the people we serve every day. When someone is looking for care, they’re seeking reassurance that they’ll be in good hands. Reading about another person’s positive experience or seeing how we’ve helped someone just like them builds that critical trust before they even walk through our doors. These awards remind us that every interaction counts and they inspire us to keep showing up in meaningful ways for our community.”

Reputation determines its scores using visibility, engagement, and sentiment metrics such as listing views, reviews volume and ratings, accuracy of listings, and responses to reviews. A score above 700 is considered high performing; those reaching or exceeding 800 are recognized as top performers.

Virtua Health operates five hospitals and more than 400 locations across the region according to the official website. The organization includes a network of over 3,000 affiliated doctors according to the official website and aims to deliver comprehensive health care services supporting wellness in South Jersey and surrounding areas according to the official website. Its initiatives include promoting health equity through programs like ‘Eat Well’ food access and Pediatric Mobile Services Unit according to the official website. Academic ties with Rowan University as well as partnerships with Penn Medicine for cancer and neuroscience services—and with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia for pediatrics—are also part of its operations according to the official website.

This marks Virtua’s sixth consecutive year earning winning listings in Reputation’s rankings across multiple categories including physical therapy centers, laboratories, urgent care locations, medical practices from primary care to specialties such as orthopedics and gastroenterology.

The broader impact of these recognitions underscores how digital presence can influence patient choices in health care today.
