Tre Powell’s Goldey-Beacom squad falls in Division II NCAA tournament opener on March 14

On Saturday, March 14, Tre Powell, who previously attended Burlington County Institute of Technology – Medford campus, saw his current college team, the Goldey-Beacom Lightning, defeated 111-78 by the Daemen Wildcats in the NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament.

The contest was held at Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium at 5 p.m. and marked the Lightning’s first tournament meeting with the Daemen Wildcats.
