Senator Andy Kim, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, addressed recent national and international developments in a series of posts on October 30, 2025.
In one post, Kim criticized actions he described as harmful to public sector employees: “This is incredibly dangerous and a direct attack on nurses, teachers, first responders, and public service workers across the country. Turning to foreign affairs later that day, Kim commented on high-level diplomatic meetings: “President Trump met with President Xi this week, but there are a lot of questions about the vague commitments made. Here’s what I’m watching. THREAD 1/4” (October 30, 2025).
He concluded his remarks by emphasizing U.S. interests in Asia: “It is imperative that we continue to deepen our Indo-Pacific partnerships and alliances as they are an essential source of American power. I’ll be watching to make sure we build on these strengths and drivers of stability and security in the region. 4/4” (October 30, 2025).
Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently lives in Moorestown. He holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004). Kim succeeded Tom MacArthur as representative for New Jersey’s 3rd district.
