Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, addressed a range of policy concerns in a series of posts on September 5, 2025.

In his first post at 14:31 UTC, Kim commented on the dual roles held by Stephen Miran, stating, “Stephen Miran is Trump’s chief ECONOMIC POLICY ADVISOR. Now, he’s Trump’s nominee for a seat on the Federal Reserve and wants to keep BOTH jobs. The Fed’s political independence relies on experts that look out for American families, not the agenda of Presidents.”

Later that day at 18:57 UTC, Kim highlighted economic challenges facing retirees and their families: “More and more Americans are struggling to make ends meet, even after saving and reaching retirement. My own parents rely on Social Security as their primary source of income. From supporting caregivers to combating age discrimination, we can and must do more to support our”.

At 21:14 UTC, Kim discussed U.S.-India relations in light of comments made by former President Donald Trump: “America’s partnership with India is a critical one, and growing it will be made more difficult with language like this from Donald Trump. It makes it more difficult to grow our economies and create jobs, more difficult to strengthen our national security and keep our families”.

Kim has served in Congress since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
