Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, posted a series of tweets on December 17, 2025, commenting on political spending, constitutional issues, and federal oversight.
In his first post at 21:52 UTC, Kim criticized former President Donald Trump’s reported expenditures: “Imagine having that much money to spend on a ballroom… Trump’s mob boss spending is out of control.”
Later that evening at 22:58 UTC, Kim addressed ongoing debates over government transparency and legal frameworks by stating: “You can change the website, can’t change the Constitution.”
At 23:54 UTC, he questioned the Federal Communications Commission’s leadership with another post: “A few questions for the FCC Chairman about where he gets his orders…”
Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District in Congress since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (BA, 2004).
