Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, shared updates on his recent activities in a series of posts on social media this week.

On May 3, Kim posted about his visit to a local veterans facility, stating, “This weekend, I visited the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home in Edison, NJ, and spoke with veterans at the long-term care facility. It was wonderful to hear directly from residents about the care they receive and the programs they enjoy.”

The following day, he recognized Small Business Week with another post: “Happy Small Business Week! I love supporting New Jersey’s small businesses. From Dunellen to Salem and everywhere in-between, they keep our economy and communities growing.” On May 4, Kim also acknowledged a popular cultural event by writing, “Happy Star Wars Day, NJ! May the fourth be with you.”

Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. His educational background includes degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
