Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on education, public health, and international engagement through a series of posts on August 26, 2025.
In one post, Senator Kim congratulated a local educator: “Congratulations to Principal Tony Cattani of Lenape High School in Medford, NJ for being named National Principal of the Year! The hard work and dedication you have committed to New Jersey education is an inspiration to all.” (August 26, 2025)
Addressing health concerns related to first responders at Ground Zero after the September 11 attacks, Kim wrote: “The World Trade Center Health Program is a critical support for first responders who deal with health conditions linked to 9/11 Ground Zero exposure. The WTC Health Program must continue to review and certify new illnesses that may be tied to this exposure, and support the” (August 26, 2025)
Senator Kim also reflected on his recent trip abroad: “Last week in Seoul, I had the honor of meeting with the next generation of Korean leaders, hearing their perspectives on global issues, the trilateral U.S.-ROK-Japan relationship, and their commitment to public service. Andy Kim has served in Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
