Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, shared updates on local achievements and political issues through a series of tweets on February 3, 2026.
In his first post at 20:11 UTC, Senator Kim congratulated a local arts organization: “Congrats to the Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble in Roselle, NJ for being a 2026 National Endowment for the Arts grant recipient! Their project seeks to celebrate America’s 250th through the artistic voices of our youth. Can’t wait to hear what they have to say.”
Later that evening at 21:26 UTC, he addressed concerns about misinformation in science and politics: “Science matters. Facts matter. We must continue to call out the dangerous misinformation being pushed by RFK Jr. and this administration.”
In his final tweet of the day at 22:06 UTC, Kim highlighted efforts to promote technological innovation in New Jersey: “It was great to be in Princeton, NJ today to support the innovation happening in our state. I look forward to working with @GovSherrillNJ to build an Einstein Corridor and make NJ a global leader in photonics and other industries.”
Senator Kim has served as New Jersey’s representative since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. Born in Boston in 1982, Kim currently resides in Moorestown and holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
