Senator Andy Kim, currently representing New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on his legislative priorities and personal reflections through a series of posts on March 25, 2026.
In one post, Kim described a recent meeting with Brady, an organization focused on gun violence prevention. He wrote: “It was great to meet with @bradybuzz to discuss our shared priorities around advancing gun violence prevention efforts in Congress. I look forward to working with Brady and others to make sure we’re creating a world that’s safe for our kids and grandkids.” (March 25, 2026)
Later the same day, Kim addressed ongoing concerns about rising gas prices and military casualties related to a conflict involving former President Trump. He stated: “It’s been almost a month since Trump started this war. Gas prices are up. American service members have died. There’s no end in sight. It’s why I voted for @ChrisMurphyCT’s effort. We need to lower costs and save lives. Now.” (March 25, 2026)
In another message posted that morning, Kim reflected on caregiving challenges: “Caregiving can be an isolating experience. Your stories have helped me find a community. I hope my story does the same for you.” (March 25, 2026)
Andy Kim has served as a member of Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and is known for his advocacy on issues including public safety and social support initiatives. Born in Boston in 1982, he resides in Moorestown and holds degrees from Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
