Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district, recently used his social media platform to highlight issues related to education, housing, and disaster relief during visits across New Jersey.
On April 1, 2026, Kim shared his experience meeting students at Atlantic Cape Community College’s AC campus. He wrote: “Yesterday, I met with students at Atlantic Cape Community College’s AC campus to learn about their education journey and hopes for the future. Later that day, Kim addressed the ongoing housing crisis following a visit to a local organization in New Jersey. In another post on April 1, Kim commented on changes regarding disaster response policy: “It’s about time. Rescinding this policy is an important step, but we must continue to ensure you have all the support you need when disaster strikes.”
Kim has served as a representative since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and resides in Moorestown. Born in Boston in 1982 and now aged 40, he graduated from Deep Springs College in 2002 and received a BA from the University of Chicago in 2004.
