Senator Andy Kim, who has represented New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, recently highlighted meetings with technology leaders, small business owners, and disability advocates in a series of social media posts.
On May 2, 2026, Kim shared details about his meeting with Nokia Bell Labs: “This week, I met with Nokia Bell Labs to discuss how we can continue to make NJ a leader in technology and innovation. I look forward to working with them to pair world-class research with all NJ has to offer, building an Einstein Corridor that attracts talent and investment.”
Later that day, he posted about discussions with local entrepreneurs: “Today, I met with small business owners in Middlesex County to learn about the issues they’re facing. They told me about frustrating red tape, unsustainable gas prices, rising costs, and harmful tariffs. These small businesses invest in our communities; we need to invest in”
On May 3, Kim attended the Abilities Expo in Edison and emphasized support for people with disabilities: “It was inspiring to spend time at the Abilities Expo in Edison, NJ, and meet with so many people with disabilities, as well as their families, caregivers, and advocates. Now more than ever, we must stand up against the harmful cuts to Medicaid and disability programs, and”
Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. He holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004). Since succeeding Tom MacArthur as representative for New Jersey’s 3rd district in 2019, Kim has focused on supporting local businesses and advocating for technological advancement within New Jersey.
