Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, recently highlighted his ongoing community engagement and advocacy efforts through several posts on social media.
On April 17, 2026, Senator Kim described his participation in a health policy event, stating, “Recently, I participated in a Health Summit Roundtable with the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies. I shared my story as a caregiver and the importance of addressing health disparities so that every person in this country is able to access quality care.”
The following day, on April 18, 2026, Kim announced an upcoming constituent event: “Save the date! Our next town hall will be in Logan Township, NJ on Saturday, April 25 at 10am. I look forward to meeting with you all in-person.”
Later that same day, he posted a message concerning civic engagement and democracy: “If you are worried about the trajectory of our democracy, what are you willing to do about it?”
Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. He holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004). Before his current role representing New Jersey’s 3rd district—succeeding Tom MacArthur—he began his congressional service after being elected in 2019.
