Senator Andy Kim, representing New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared insights and updates through his social media platform. His communications focused on climate change efforts, budgetary concerns on Capitol Hill, and the importance of civic participation during election periods.
On June 10, 2025, Senator Kim expressed his gratitude for participating in the League of Conservation Voters’ Climate Victory Council Summit held in Washington D.C. “It was an honor to speak at the @LCVoters’ Climate Victory Council Summit in DC yesterday. We are at a critical moment in our nation when it comes to combatting climate change, and LCV is helping to lead the way.” He emphasized his commitment to investing in a safe world for future generations.
Later that day, Senator Kim highlighted ongoing fiscal discussions within the legislative body with a post urging public awareness about financial decisions being made by lawmakers. On June 10, 2025, he posted: “Cuts, cuts, and more cuts. Send this video to 3 friends to spread awareness of what’s happening on Capitol Hill this week “
Additionally, on June 10th as well, Senator Kim reminded constituents of their electoral responsibilities during New Jersey’s Primary Election Day. He encouraged voters to participate before polls closed at 8 PM by finding their polling places via the NJ Voter Information Portal: “Today is Primary Election Day in New Jersey and polls are open until 8pm. Don’t forget to get out and make your voice heard!”
Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Andy Kim has served as a member of Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019. A graduate of both Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago, he brings educational experience from these institutions into his political career.
