Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, posted several statements on March 30, 2026, criticizing former President Donald Trump and addressing federal spending priorities.
In a post made at 13:34 UTC, Kim stated: “Trump breaks it, we pay for it.”
Later that day at 15:32 UTC, he wrote: ‘”Fighting wars” and surging gas prices, yet Trump has time to brag about his billionaire backed ballroom. He really doesn’t care.’
At 15:36 UTC on the same day, Kim addressed government expenditures involving Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), saying: “I will hold Secretary Mullin to his word to come visit the Roxbury warehouse that ICE purchased. I can think of far better things we could be spending half a billion dollars on.”
Andy Kim succeeded Tom MacArthur in Congress in 2019 and is currently serving as the representative for New Jersey’s 3rd district. Born in Boston in 1982 and residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
