Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on January 21, 2026, criticizing former President Donald Trump and discussing recent conversations with members of the Venezuelan community in New Jersey.

In a tweet posted at 16:40 UTC, Senator Kim commented on Donald Trump’s speech at Davos: “Trump’s Davos speech is an embarrassment. He can’t even remember which country he’s currently bullying.”

Later that day, at 18:00 UTC, Kim shared details about his outreach to local residents: “A couple weeks ago, I spoke to some members of the Venezuelan community in NJ about the Trump administration’s actions in their home country. Here’s what they had to say.”

At 20:29 UTC, he followed up with another post referencing Trump’s performance: “Newsflash. He can’t.”

Senator Kim has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Tom MacArthur. He was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. Kim is an alumnus of Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
