Senator Andy Kim, who has represented New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, posted a series of statements on social media on December 18, 2025, addressing issues related to former President Donald Trump and his own work for constituents.
In a post made at 2:24 a.m. UTC, Kim criticized former President Trump, stating: “Behind the absolutely unhinged delivery there is a simple truth: Trump’s corruption is helping his friends and family while things are getting worse for you and yours. He’s failing you because he doesn’t care about you.”
Later that day at 3:27 p.m. UTC, Kim commented on what he described as a recent action by Trump, writing: “All talk, no substance. This was clearly a stunt for Trump’s TV ratings and not actually an attempt to help our servicemembers.”
At 4:19 p.m. UTC the same day, Kim addressed his constituents directly with an end-of-year message: “You deserve a government that works for you. To my 9.5 million bosses in New Jersey, and to anyone who has been on this journey with me thus far, here’s my 2025 end of year report. View the full report at https://t.co/IN3qPH68oc.”
Andy Kim has served in Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and represents New Jersey’s 3rd District. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
