Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on March 13 and 14, 2026, addressing military policy and local achievements.
Later that day, he highlighted a meeting with youth delegates from New Jersey: “It was wonderful to meet Grace and Neeka, New Jersey’s delegates to the Senate Youth Program. Their accomplishments are incredibly impressive and I can’t wait to see what they achieve next. Thanks for making NJ proud!”
On March 14, Kim criticized former President Trump and Pete Hegseth regarding military planning: “Our troops are in harms way when Trump and Hegseth have no strategy and no plan.”
Kim has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Tom MacArthur as representative for New Jersey’s 3rd district. He was born in Boston in 1982, is currently 40 years old, resides in Moorestown, and holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
