Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district, has recently used his social media platform to voice opposition to current immigration enforcement funding and criticize the ongoing conflict associated with former President Trump.
On March 14, 2026, Kim posted, “Not a single dollar to ICE until we see reform.” The following day, on March 15, he commented on the repercussions of recent military actions: “We are already seeing the unintended consequences of Trump’s war. Just declaring ‘Missing Accomplished’ won’t make us safer and it won’t bring down your costs.” Later that same day, Kim added another post expressing skepticism about official statements regarding the duration of the conflict: “Calling BS on this. A few weeks? They don’t know when this war will end because they don’t have a plan to end it. You’re going to pay more because of their lies.”
Kim has served in Congress since 2019 after replacing Tom MacArthur. He was born in Boston in 1982 and resides in Moorestown. Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
