Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared several posts on March 19, 2026, addressing national policy priorities, political corruption allegations, and local educational engagement.

In a post at 18:21 UTC on March 19, Senator Kim criticized recent budgetary decisions by former President Trump and Republican lawmakers: “Trump and Republicans want $200 billion for their Iran war. Last summer, they cut nearly $200 billion from food assistance. These may be Trump’s priorities, but they’re not ours.”

Later that day at 19:59 UTC, Kim addressed issues of political ethics in another statement: “In Trump’s America, bribery is the name of the game. Trump’s cronies like Corey Lewandowski profit off of power and your pain. This blatant corruption is disgraceful.”

At 20:30 UTC on the same day, Senator Kim highlighted his meeting with students from a New Jersey-based academic program: “It was great to meet with students from the Rowan Institute of Public Policy and Citizenship (RIPPAC) and hear about what’s been on their minds. This is the next generation of leaders in New Jersey and beyond. I’m proud to support them on their journeys!”

Andy Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (BA, 2004).
