Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, recently used his social media platform to criticize economic inequality and government priorities.
On April 2, 2026, Kim wrote: “Billionaires get richer as working families get poorer and go into debt to pay their medical bills. Tax breaks for billionaires over your health. It’s corrupt. It’s wrong. And it’s a reality we must change.”
Later that day, he posted: “Trump is driving up costs to fight a war the American people had no say in. We are poorer than we were six weeks ago.” This statement reflects ongoing concerns about rising living costs and the impact of foreign policy decisions on domestic economic conditions.
The following day, April 3, Kim stated: “You deserve a government you can trust and elected officials you can believe in. That’s what I’m fighting to get back in the U.S. Senate.”
Kim has served in Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and represents New Jersey’s 3rd District. Born in Boston in 1982, he resides in Moorestown and holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
