Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, has raised concerns on social media regarding recent developments in military operations and political conduct.
On December 17, 2025, Kim posted about discrepancies between statements made by Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth and subsequent military actions. He wrote, “This threatened military action directly contradicts what Secretaries Rubio and Hegseth told my Senate colleagues and I today about the mission and goals of their operations in the Caribbean. This is a dangerous escalation, and this administration must come before Congress”.
Later that day, Kim commented on perceived misconduct within the administration: “Threats to critics. Favors for loyalists. It’s textbook corruption and it does nothing to help you.”
In another post from December 17, he addressed issues of loyalty within government service: “Newsflash: You take an oath to the Constitution and the American people, not to President Trump.”
Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. Born in Boston in 1982, he currently resides in Moorestown. His educational background includes a BA from the University of Chicago (2004) and studies at Deep Springs College (2002).
