Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, posted a series of tweets on February 12, 2026, addressing community events and expressing political positions.

In his first post at 2:24 a.m. UTC, Senator Kim wrote about an event at the Capitol: “The monk Walk of Peace made it to their destination here at the Capitol this morning. Witnessing just a piece of their journey was a reminder that true compassion is not passive. We must serve our ideals with grit, hard work, and strength.”

Later that day at 1:11 p.m. UTC, he commented on the Trump administration and Department of Homeland Security funding: “There’s a rot deep to the core in the Trump administration. I will not vote to give DHS another dollar so long as their lawlessness continues.”

At 2:22 p.m. UTC, Senator Kim invited constituents to an upcoming town hall event in Asbury Park: “Greetings from Asbury Park! Join me for a town hall on Thursday, February 19 at 6pm. RSVP to receive the full location: https://t.co/JDvlJfkJgL Looking forward to seeing you then!”

Senator Andy Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District in Congress since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019 and has resided in Moorestown during his tenure. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently aged 40, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
