Senator Andy Kim, currently representing New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several issues on his social media account on April 16, 2026.
In a post published at 14:32 UTC, Kim called for an immediate end to former President Donald Trump’s military actions in Iran. He wrote, “Ending Trump’s Iran war is an urgent matter. Americans can’t wait for Republicans in Congress to wake up. They need this over. NOW.”
Later that day, at 17:19 UTC, Kim highlighted a meeting with SK Life Science and referenced ongoing collaboration between the company’s U.S. headquarters in Paramus, New Jersey and their operations in South Korea. He stated, “I recently met with @SKLifeScience, a company whose U.S. HQs are based in Paramus, NJ. It was a great follow up to our meeting in South Korea last year, where we discussed their work in developing treatments for CNS disorders, including epilepsy. We must continue to invest in”
In another message posted at 18:06 UTC the same day, Kim criticized Trump’s handling of public funds related to the conflict with Iran and questioned federal spending priorities: “Trump’s using your money to fund his war, and refuses to tell you exactly how much of it he’s spending. What would you rather they be spending your hard earned money on?”
Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and resides in Moorestown after being born in Boston in 1982. He graduated from Deep Springs College and later from the University of Chicago with a BA.
