Senator Andy Kim, a member of the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, has used his social media platform to call for increased transparency and support on several pressing issues.
On April 14, 2026, Kim criticized former President Donald Trump’s handling of an ongoing conflict, writing: “Trump’s war of choice is being fought in our name, at our expense, but without our say. It must end.”
Later that day, he pressed for Congressional action and public accountability regarding the same conflict: “We need public hearings in Congress. NOW. There’s no excuse for saying ‘no’ to the American people. We deserve to know what is happening in this war waged in our name.”
In a separate post on April 14, Kim highlighted his visit to a local organization addressing homelessness: “I visited the Trenton Rescue Mission to learn about their fight against homelessness. The services they provide are absolutely vital to the people in their care and the communities they inhabit. We must get them the resources they need to continue this work.”
Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. He graduated from Deep Springs College in 2002 and received a BA from the University of Chicago in 2004.
