Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of policy issues in a series of tweets posted on April 15, 2026.
In his first post of the day, Kim referenced concerns he has heard from constituents about economic pressures and ongoing conflict. He wrote, “I’ve heard it from people across New Jersey – between this war and higher prices, they feel like they’re drowning. They deserve action, now. Passing a War Powers Resolution to end this war is just the first step to bring relief.” (April 15, 2026).
Later that evening, Kim shared details of his meeting with Japanese State Minister Horii Iwao regarding international alliances. He stated, “This week, I met with Japanese State Minister Horii Iwao to discuss the current state of the U.S.-Japan alliance, as well as the importance of the U.S.-ROK-Japan trilateral relationship. I believe these partnerships are critical to promoting security and prosperity in the” (April 15, 2026).
In another tweet posted shortly after, Kim commented on consumer frustrations with ticketing companies: “Far too many of us have been screwed over by Ticketmaster and Live Nation’s monopoly. This is a win for anyone who wants to be able to afford to see their favorite artists – not be priced out or overrun by bots.” (April 15, 2026).
Andy Kim has served in Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and currently resides in Moorestown. Born in Boston in 1982 and educated at Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago, Kim has focused much of his legislative attention on constituent concerns ranging from foreign policy to domestic economic issues.
