On April 7, 2025, Kim highlighted the wage gap faced by AANHPI women in the United States. “On average, AANHPI women make 83 cents for every dollar made by a white, non-Hispanic man. When you break that down further, many face as wide of a gap as 48 cents to the $1. On AANHPI Equal Pay Day, we recognize this injustice as we work to close the wage gap for good.”
Later the same day, Kim addressed a somber event involving a young Palestinian-American. In a statement regarding “Amer Mohammad Saada Rabee, a 14-year-old Palestinian-American from Saddle Brook, NJ killed in the West Bank.” Kim expressed grief and concern over the incident.
In another post, Kim emphasized the importance of Medicaid, urging a bipartisan approach to healthcare. He maintained that “Protecting Medicaid shouldn’t be a partisan subject. It’s about making sure people have care and somewhere to turn when they need it most.”
