Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, posted a series of statements on March 17, 2026, addressing veterans’ issues, economic policy under former President Trump, and ongoing conflict involving the United States and Iran.

In a tweet from March 17, Kim described his recent meeting with local veteran leaders: “Recently, I met with leaders from NJ American Legion. We discussed the need to expand access to healthcare, including mental health services, for veterans, and end veteran homelessness. I look forward to continuing to fight to ensure all NJ veterans get the support they need.”

Later that day, Kim commented on economic policies associated with Donald Trump: “Raise your hand if you think this is delusional, too. They’re saying it out loud: they don’t care about you. Trump’s economy only works for billionaires.”

Addressing international developments in the evening of March 17, Kim referenced ongoing military actions: “It’s Day 18 of Trump’s war in Iran. Let me tell where we are and what to expect next.”

Andy Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. He holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004). He succeeded Tom MacArthur as representative of New Jersey’s 3rd district after winning election in 2018.
