Senator Andy Kim, a U.S. Congressman representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, recently posted several statements on social media addressing both local and international issues.
On March 15, 2026, Kim wrote about his recent meeting with Rider University’s president: “Recently, I met with the President of Rider University to discuss how we can work together to support the students Rider serves, including preparing the next generation of nurses to help address ongoing workforce shortages and tackling food insecurity on campus. We also spoke https://t.co/TXcXKQEl1Y”.
Later that day, Kim addressed concerns regarding foreign policy and military actions involving former President Trump. At 21:10 UTC he stated: “Trump and Hegseth have deprioritized the protection of civilians. There must be public hearings in Congress on the way Trump brought us into this war and this strike on a school in Iran. https://t.co/6DsGQyALQn”.
In another post at 22:52 UTC, Kim further criticized Trump’s approach to international conflict: “Putin’s profiting while Americans pay the price. From throwing us into a war with no plan to deliberately strengthening our adversaries, Trump is proving time and time again that he doesn’t care about your safety or your wallet. https://t.co/yOOlxYtFzz”.
Kim has served as a representative for New Jersey’s 3rd District since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and resides in Moorestown. Kim graduated from Deep Springs College in 2002 and earned his BA from the University of Chicago in 2004.
