Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, recently addressed several key issues on his social media account, including U.S.-Japan relations, the humanitarian crisis in Gaza City, and a tragic bus accident in Western New York.

On August 22, 2025, Kim highlighted the importance of Japan as a partner for the United States: “Japan is a critical ally and one of the strongest partners we have when it comes to advancing our national security in the Indo-Pacific and economic growth opportunities here at home. Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and resides in Moorestown. His educational background includes degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
