Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district since 2019, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on March 13, 2026.
In one post, Kim expressed condolences following a military accident: “Heartbroken to learn of the loss of 4 U.S. service members after a mid-air accident over Iraq. I’m grateful for the diligent work for our search and rescue personnel and hoping for a quick recovery of the remaining two service members. The impact of war goes far beyond the” (March 13, 2026).
Later that day, he commented on economic challenges faced by Americans: “Costs are . Inflation is . Economic growth is . We are all feeling the squeeze of Trump’s tariffs, of higher prices as a result of Republican budget cuts, and of this war in Iran. You deserve a government that works for you, not against you.” (March 13, 2026).
Kim also highlighted legislative efforts to support caregivers and home care workers: “As a Sandwich Generation senator, I’m committed to making sure our caregivers and home care workers are given a life of dignity and decency. That’s why I’m proud to join @PattyMurray in introducing the Fair Wages for Home Care Workers Act.” (March 13, 2026).
Kim has served in Congress since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019 and represents constituents from New Jersey’s 3rd District. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
