Senator Andy Kim, who has represented New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress since 2019, posted a series of messages on social media addressing both local engagement and national political issues.

On February 10, 2026, Senator Kim invited constituents to an event in Washington, D.C., writing, “Come with me to our first Capitol Coffee event of the year, meeting Jersey down in DC!” The same day, he commented on an ongoing case by stating, “It’s long past time that Leqaa Kordia be released.”

Later that evening, on February 11, 2026, Senator Kim addressed former President Donald Trump’s actions in Minnesota: “People around this country are still pissed off at Trump’s aggression and lies in Minnesota.”

Senator Kim was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. He is an alumnus of Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago. Since defeating Tom MacArthur in 2019, Kim has continued to serve his district while engaging with both local and national issues.
