Senator Andy Kim, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing New Jersey’s 3rd district, addressed a range of policy issues and public events in a series of tweets posted on May 20, 2026.

In one tweet, Kim proposed a straightforward solution to an unspecified issue, stating on May 20: “I’ve got a fix for this – just ban it.”

Later that day, he highlighted his participation at an event organized by Foreign Policy for America. On May 20, Kim wrote: “It was an honor to deliver keynote remarks at @FP4America’s Leadership Summit and speak about how we can reshape America’s foreign policy to be focused on resilience – not just about weathering the anxieties and challenges of today, but building opportunity for future generations”.

Addressing federal spending priorities in another post from May 20, Kim questioned budget allocations by asking: “$40 billion in taxpayer dollars for an illegal war in Iran or education for children with disabilities. Which would you choose?”

Kim has served as a member of Congress since 2019 after replacing Tom MacArthur as the representative of New Jersey’s 3rd district. Born in Boston in 1982, Kim resides in Moorestown and holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
