Senator Andy Kim, who represents New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on March 20, 2026, addressing constituents and broader national issues.
In his first message of the day, Kim extended greetings to those celebrating Eid al-Fitr: “Eid Mubarak to all observing Eid al-Fitr in NJ and around the world! May this Eid bring joy and prosperity to you and your family.” (March 20, 2026).
Later that morning, Kim addressed concerns about medical research funding. He wrote: “I want to find a cure for Alzheimer’s. Trump has cut research funding by over 50%. We must fight to restore funding for medical research.” (March 20, 2026).
In an afternoon post on the same day, Kim commented on economic challenges faced by working families: “And working families have less money.” (March 20, 2026).
Kim has represented New Jersey’s 3rd District since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim graduated from Deep Springs College in 2002 and earned a BA from the University of Chicago in 2004.
