Later that day at 16:27 UTC, Kim highlighted the ongoing work at the Hughes Center to improve air travel and pledged continued support for their initiatives. In his post he stated, “The team at the Hughes Center researches tirelessly to keep our air travel modern, safe, and fast. I’ll continue to support their efforts and work with the FAA to fix delays, support our air traffic controllers, and keep our skies safe to fly.” (August 28, 2025).
At 18:50 UTC on the same day, Kim criticized congressional Republicans for reducing funding for public broadcasting. He noted its effects on rural communities by stating: “Republicans in Congress gutted public broadcasting and now rural areas are feeling the impact. Kim has served in Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 as representative of New Jersey’s 3rd district. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown at age 40, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (BA ’04).
