Senator Andy Kim, currently representing New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on January 26, 2026, addressing local community efforts and expressing concerns over political and security issues.
In his first post, Kim highlighted a recent event in Salem: “Scenes from this weekend’s resource fair in Salem, NJ. Shout out to the vendors, Salem City, the 3rd legislative district, and the Salem County Inter Agency Council for helping us get resources around housing, food, utilities, mental health, and more to people who need them.” (January 26, 2026)
Later that day, Kim commented on what he described as problematic political behavior: “Over and over again, bullying and intimidation. We all see this for what it is. More Mob Boss politics.” (January 26, 2026)
In another tweet that evening, Kim called for greater accountability from Department of Homeland Security officials: “We have been urging the Chairman to call on DHS leaders, including Sec. Noem who is not on this list, to testify before Congress and answer for the lawlessness we’ve been seeing in our communities. After the murders of Renee Good and Alex Pretti, this is the bare minimum. You” (January 26, 2026)
Kim has served as U.S. Representative for New Jersey’s 3rd District since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019. He was born in Boston in 1982 and currently resides in Moorestown. Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College (2002) and the University of Chicago (2004).
