Senator Andy Kim, currently representing New Jersey’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed several national issues in a series of posts on March 18, 2026.
In his first post, Kim shared his participation in a caregiving event: “It was an honor to join @DadsCaucus for their first-ever National Summit on the Caregiving Crisis. Care is the backbone of our economy. As a member of the Sandwich Generation, I promise to fight for the care our loved ones, from our kids to our aging parents, deserve.” (March 18, 2026)
Later that evening, Kim criticized recent legislative efforts related to voting rights: “The SAVE America Act is an awful bill that furthers Trump’s agenda to gain more power and price people out of voting. It’s a poll tax on you.” (March 18, 2026)
Addressing foreign policy and its domestic impacts, Kim commented on ongoing military actions: “Day 18 of Trump’s war in Iran. No plan and no end in sight. Just higher gas prices and a war you’re footing the bill for.” (March 18, 2026)
Andy Kim has served as a member of Congress since replacing Tom MacArthur in 2019 and represents constituents from New Jersey’s 3rd district. Born in Boston in 1982 and currently residing in Moorestown, Kim holds degrees from Deep Springs College and the University of Chicago.
