On Saturday, April 12, former Delran High School standout Alex Madera’s current college team, the North Carolina Tar Heels, won 17-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Wake Forest Deacons.

The game took place at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Deacons this season.

The Tar Heels’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 15 at 6 p.m. at Cary C. Boshamer Stadium against Charlotte 49ers.
